Isn't this the cutest toy ever? Some people in our ward gave it to us, and Talmage loves it! It makes horse noises and everything. I think it is so cute to see him jumping up and down in his horse. Thanks to the Morgans!

Changing Colors
The downside of feeding Talmage solids is that it turns his spit-up nice, vibrant colors. I find myself on my hands and knees with the Resolve, scrubbing the carpet quite often. On this day, he had spit up so much that I changed his outfit. He had only had his new clothes on for a few minutes before this happened:
It might be a problem if he weren't so cute! But that face is very forgiveable... :)

Happy Birthday to Jocilyn!
I'm a little late on this one, but Friday was my sister Jocilyn's birthday! I admire her so much for so many reasons. We have lived kind of parallel lives even though she is four years older than me, and it has been so fun to experience major events together.
When I was a baby/toddler, she was my "Mama Joc."
When she was twelve and I was eight, people thought she actually was my mom.
When we were both teenagers, people thought we looked exactly alike.

After she went on her mission, I came to BYU and took her old job. When she got back from her mission, we worked together.

We met our husbands around the same time and ended up getting married 15 days apart!

Not only that, but we had our babies (both boys!) just 16 days apart!

She now lives in Utah and I live in Texas, but it is still a joy to hear about her son, exchange information on diapers, coupons, groceries, etc., and feel connected despite the distance that divides us. Happy birthday, Jocilyn!!! I love ya!

Father-to-Son
I'm always taking pictures of these two, I know...Talmage just loves Sam so much and always smiles from ear to ear when he walks in the door. I love seeing the two of them interacting!

Hand-Eye Coordination
Talmage's hand-eye coordination has improved so much lately! The other day he took his binky out of his mouth and started hitting it against his rattle over and over again. It was so cute! Of course he stopped doing it soon after I brought the camera over...but I still managed to get a couple of shots before he got tired of it.

Loving His Feet
I mentioned that Talmage has been loving his feet! He loves it when he is barefoot and can grab his feet and toes and play with them.
He loves this cow. My friend gave it to me when I was moving away from Texas when I was 8.
But after a while...
he ditched the cow and favored his feet!
I don't blame him...these feet are so cute I'm grabbing them all the time, too!
