Books, Glorious Books!

Talmage LOVES books. He likes them WAY more than any of his toys. In fact, most of his toys will hold his attention for approximately 30 seconds, but he will play with his books all day long. He loves emptying the bottom shelf of his bookshelf and sitting in the pile of books reading.
He has a definite preference for which books are his favorite, too. If he doesn't like a book, he will pick it up, toss it aside, and pick up another one until he comes to one he likes. Then he will meticulously turn the pages one at a time, cooing and talking as he reads himself the book. When he finishes, he tosses the book aside and repeats the process...over and over and over again! He has a basket of books next to the rocking chair as well, and he loves to stand by the rocking chair, leaning down to select his books, and then lay the ones he likes out on his toybox. It is such an entertaining process!
This boy is just too fun to play with!
P.S. Only a week and a half until moving day!!! We bought a refrigerator today for our new place...can't wait to get away from the roaches! :)

You bought a fridge! But what I am most excited about is that you posted. It's been like 6 days girl! I've been checking your blog every 2 hours for almost a week! :) Just kidding...kind of. I get bored during finals week.

PS--was your fridge black?

Hahaha, sorry about the lack of posts...I'll try to do better. :) Although no guarantees with getting ready to move. The fridge was actually stainless steel and black, which works out even better since our stove/oven and dishwasher are stainless steel and black. It was the right price, just a few miles away, we met the guy at 7:00 am so Sam didn't have to be too late to work, and he delivered it to our new house for us! It's just sitting in the garage waiting to be cleaned and hooked up. :)

Erm, I meant so Sam didn't have to be too late to school. Just to get the details straight...

Wow! What a delight. Especially after the skitzo woman who kept advertising phantom fridges...

school/work, what's the dif?

I hope you enjoy the new fridge. Ryan found some awesome stainless steel cleaner (it's in a spray can) that works wonders to polish and make it fingerprint-resistent. I highly recommend seeing if you can find some - I think it's weimann's?

The difference is that school follows him home!
